Spherical Coordinates

Introducing the Cartesian coordinates of a point in three-dimensional space, the application returns its spherical coordinates.

The point of interest is represented in red on the sphere centered at the origin, with a radius equal to the distance between the point and the origin.

The radial distance is represented by the blue segment connecting the origin to the point.

The polar angle is represented by the red arc from the positive Z-axis and the segment defined by the origin and the point of interest.

The azimuthal angle is represented by the green arc from the X-axis to the plane containing the Z-axis and the point of interest.
