Strong cosmic censorship in spherical symmetry

In this talk we will explain the meaning of the strong cosmic censorship conjecture in general relativity and give an overview of the relevant mathematical literature for spherical symmetric models. In particular, we will present recent results that put this conjecture into question in the case of a positive cosmological constant.
