Centre of Mathematics of University of Minho (CMAT) is pleased to announce the Q DAYS, a workshop on quantum computation taking place on the 11th and 12th of April 2019 at University of Minho. The main goal of the workshop is to present the basics of quantum computation to whoever is interested in learning the fundamentals of the subject. Therefore most of the programme has a tutorial character, and is particularly directed to students or newcomers with background in mathematics, computer science, informatics or physics - but everybody is welcome. There will also be a hands-on session with IBM's Quantum Experience. Two invited talks and a post-graduate students session complete the programme.
Participation is free, but registration is mandatory, for logistic reasons. Deadline for registration is March 31.
Q DAYS is a QuantaLab event, organized and supported by CMAT, with further support by HASLab INESC TEC.
