Conformal tools for stationary axisymmetric metrics

Presenting author: Adam Vrátný

Stationary axially symmetric metrics are one of the most significant classes of solutions to Einstein's equations containing a number of physically important geometries, e.g., the Kerr black hole. We will describe some general approaches for an effective computations of the curvature tensors and other physically important quantities, based on the conformal trick. This will be demonstrated on the new example of a metric which represents an accelerating Taub-NUT black hole.
